I got a set of Kobalt torxs and busted one took it right back and they swapped it out for me no problems... I'd say use a good pair of vise grips and a lil work with a cold chisel...

Yelp sure am.... Only thing is I don't want to buy something and have it sit on a shelf for the rest of its life.... On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being impossible, how hard is the retro fit?? -
Well, I suppose, if you're REALLY good at fabrication, it could be made to work... Cause that's sooo much easier than greasing a latch? Gull wing MJ? Power remote activated with linear activators and suicided to open from the back side... bling, bling,, shaq anit got crap on my mj... oh yeah,,, pass me that $h!t mannn,,,, :chillin:

Can Comanche Wheel bearings be re-packed?
jtdesigns replied to mknherhappy's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Sure can JT. It is a one piece hub, but the rotor comes off easy, once you slip the caliper off, remove the cotter pin, unscrew the hub nut, and slide it off. Just did a bearing and race replacement this week. Bearings and races are pretty cheap, so I don't repack the old bearings, just replace both. sweet.... spicer?? Got any numbers??? -

if you guys could gripe any about the aw4 what would they be?? I'm buying a xj and it makes a noise in park at idle.. Think it needs rebuilt? or replaced?? like whats the biggest problem for these trans? I had a older xj many years ago I remember it used to go in and out of overdrive or feel like it was trying to change gears on the highway.. Just want to brace myself for this 96 I'm getting... -

You have to go see the cheers bar... http://www.cheersboston.com/ Coming back home from a winter in VT I hitched a ride to Boston and stayed there two days.. My buddy took me to this complex of band rooms where I met Dickey Barret and Joe G. of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.. then got hammered and slept pretty much the whole bus ride back to NC.. Alls I really remember was the place smelled like dead fish,, esp at the bus depo the following day... I think it was right at the bay.... It was a long time ago,, plus kinda foggy in my mind, :chillin: but I do remember thinking the place has a old town flavor to it.. alot of old brick, and some stone paved roads maybe..

man thats ancient..... still better then mechanical drawing though.. thats prehistoric these days.. I still prefer to think of it as "Descriptive Geometry." And if you can't do it manually, you probably can't REALLY do it in AutoCAD. Between my consulting architect practice and my part-time gig as a building inspector, you'd be surprised (or maybe you wouldn't) at some of the stuff I see on plans ... stuff that absolutely, positively could not be built the way it's drawn no matter how long somebody tried to fight with it. And I've watched some of the drafters produce that dreck -- try to point out politely that it can't be done that way, and they get huffy and tell you they're not being paid to think, they're only being paid to put lines in the screen. I kid you not. Oh I know exactly what your talking about.. I've had to use other peoples drawings before just to find out their scale was wrong or dimensions were off.. I sat for a whole day trying to get one drawing back to the right scale. I was wondering why everything I was drawing looked good on paper, but when I went to the machine things werent fitting as spec'ed.. It was a complex mechanical drawing, but I can imagine what would happen when something like that would happen on a larger architecture scale.. Plus the fact that your draftsmen might not even know what 16 on center means, or even that a 2x4 is really a 1.5 x 3.5.......
