    Check this out

Sweet!! That things faster in water then on land!.. wonder how they get the wheels to tuck up like that...
  3. I can get addresses for anyone interested in sending care packages, Christmas cards or just a thank you note, to deployed soldiers. PM me.
  4. pretty much the same.. except it goes down your chain. supply will go get mail then it goes from there. But I tell ya, nothings worse then having the 1st Sergeant just set mail down on the side for a fallen soldier.
  5. Hey you guys have no clue how good it feels to get a package from home... Even though the px's are getting better over there, the best stuff is from home.
  6. I am guessing your is a 2wd. 4wds have a tophat style rotor and unit bearings. Early 2wds used packable bearing in a hub/rotor combo. Yelp,,, guess that clears that one up!! :D
  7. Hornbrod I think this should be in the DIY part http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=9
  8. While doing my fronts I noticed it looked like the rotors were one piece with the hub... I may be wrong, but I don't think I can just slide the rotor off like what I'm use too. But I put a micrometer on them and they are with-in spec. so I just left them...
  9. Nice lil project I need to do. Thanks!
  10. Looking good!! Do the corner lights flash with the turn signals? I don't think mine flash.. I may be wrong though.
  11. I use 10-40. I may go a little higher because of the lifters clicking. I have to run 20-50 in my Rodeo. Thats the only oil that'll keep it quite, but I never heard a GM 3.2 that doesn't make noise in the right side head.
  12. Did you call any upholstery shops? Better yet I bet a shoe repair shop could sew some seat belts for you. I'm sure you can buy the seatbelt webbing easy too.
  13. I don't know if I like them in that spot, unless you just want to be oem..I think they look better here. just my 2 cents.... Image Not Found
  14. Per this link the 6th digit 6 is only for the 91+ models. AAAAAAARGH, who knows. But it sounds like it's a regulation Eliminator.......... You sure you read that right Hornbrod? Obviously not  . I'm tired, cold, and it's Miller time. Been working on and off today installing some side blinker repeaters like the Euro XJs have, and come inside to warm up a bit and check out the CClub forum. Got them in, will wire up tomorrow. Another semi useless mod, but it's fun. Are you talking about the blinkers that fit in the fenders?
  15. X 3. Stay off the snowmobile trails. I do wheel on the street when the snow is deep. Once the big snow piles get hard they can be a blast to climb and play on. Everytime in snows I drive right next to the curb so the plow guy knows where the edge of the road is in front of my house. If there is 5" or more snow one the roads I'll be out driving. I drive sane for the most part and stay on the road. If I get busted for a 4 wheel drift it's a risk I take. I never screw around in traffic. A couple of years ago I did some mall crawling in Racine. The only parking was way out but they had some 10'+ tall piles of snow that where about 100' long and closer to the door. I drove up one end and parked on the other. The mall security was waiting for me when I came out... They wanted to ticket me, but I was parked above a parking spot. They said you're stuck up there anyway. I said B.S. and drove down in front of them. I turned around and went back over the pile again. They had a stock XJ. I went back and convinced them to try it. They made it with only a couple of back-ups. They drove over and said I made their day. :D The next winter there where signs about staying off the snow piles. That sounds like something Bruiser would do. Remember that story someone posted up about the street sweeper guy??
  16. I saw that last night. That guy painted everything on the insides too.

  18. I wish it was 4wd...... in time maybe.... :brows:
  19. This is what the carfax said, but the 8th digit is a L :dunno: Report Run Date: 12/11/2007 The vehicle identification number you submitted has been analyzed and summary information on your car is shown below. VIN: 1J7FT66LXKLxxxxxx Year: 1989 Make: Jeep Model: Comanche Eliminator Style/Body: Regular Cab Class: Pickup - Full Sized Engine: 4.0L I6 MPI Country of Assembly: United States Vehicle Age: 18 year(s) Last Reported Odometer Reading: 156,723
  20. Yeah I have an Eliminator. It has decals on the other bed side. A carfax told me it was hit in the bed, so I guess the po just painted and didn't replace the decal on the left side.
  21. lol Wildman sent me that link too, but it doesn't tell much about the knock sensor...
  22. Here read this http://www.lalena.com/Audio/FAQ/Wiring/ and this http://www.bcae1.com/spkrmlti.htm
  23. You sure 4 at 2 ohms? Man its been a long time since i've been into the audio loop... ok try to get this right... 4 ch rated at 80 watts at 4 ohms ( I bet its 4 ohms with 4 ch) that would be 160 watts bridged into 2 ch at 4 ohms or 2 ch at 80 watts and one at 160 if it splits into 3 chs all at 4 ohms. and 320 watts bridged mono. or 1 ch with 4 ohms the way the speakers are wired ie.. two 4 ohm speakers wired into parallel will drop the ohms to 2 ohms. series would add ohms .. two 4 ohm speakers = 8 ohm load. if you wire your speakers parallel it would drop the ohms to 2 ohms but double the power so... two 4 ohm in parallel will make your amp push 2 ohms at 640 watts bridged mono but,,,, this produces ALOT of heat and heat kills electronics esp amps. by the way your x-over or cross over is it a round knob that you have to turn either + or -?
  24. Anyway to test a knock sensor without a oscillator scope. I tried banging the block with a wrench but didn't change the idle. My exhaust smells really rich, and the knock sensor plastic is cracked. I tried to glue it back together but didn't hold, so I slid the connector (looks like injector plug) back on with no change. What cause a rich mixture so I can trouble shoot some more??? How does the knock sensor work anyways?? theres only 2 prongs, how does it "hear"?
  25. bridging is when you hook one speaker up to your amp. is it 2 ohm stable?
