  8. Sure, but NorCal is sure a good drive from NC...I did just get done smoking about 15 lbs of Pork shoulder for Pulled Pork... was in for just under 20 hours and is delicious, but being a California (Nebraska transplant), I probably don't get to call that "real" BBQ... Hopefully taking the TJ down this weekend to Pismo Beach to do some Sand Wheeling and Beach camping, so BBQ will have to happen after that... Yeah thats a long @$$ haul!!! but you know I've always wanted to go see the Redwoods.. and I hear you NorCal guys have some crazy nugs.. lol (Kids don't do drugs)
  9. Well it looks good,, you going to have a lawn warming bbq soon??
  10. They nailed it down every few inches with this 5"-6" nails (that they said they have never had pull up before). Laid the grass over about 4" of Gravel/Sand Mixture which was tamped down. The underside is a "weave" so water and stuff will go through just fine. The guy that installed it said it would drain NO WORSE than the crappy clay that my real was sitting on...They spread out some sand on top and then use a motorized metal bristle brush thing to "fluff" up the grass... That some pretty cool stuff.. whats the price difference between that and sod??
  11. I was raised on a nc farm,, I'm use to seeing what Twisty posted.. but we never used any kind of reel mower like his but 10ft bush hogs...
  12.
  13. Very nice! Get some micro shots of that stuff... I'm interested in how its made.. Did they stake it down or what? Will it hold water?? Oh and even though its small it looks very relaxing back there..
  14. If thats your plan you should check out <> I don't think it would look right on a Comanche all over though,, You might be able to get away with just the hood,, but it'll still just look like primer to the average joe..
  15. man your right it looks just like a 94 up blazer/s-10's bumper,, thats not a bad mod..
  16. Please sir, that would be might nice of ya.. I can add the circuits for the locks and mirrors off yours.. and just use the fsm's as reference...

Well man I know how it is, but you got to play by their rules.. Learn how to make the system work for you. Swallow your pride and just do it.. $500 MJ had some good words of wisdom.. sleep on it and tomorrow re-evaluate your options.. Talk it over with your folks in a mature way.. don't get hot headed,, maybe you can talk about it with your schools admin.. and come up with a good plan of action..

I think anything that takes your mind off school at this point in your life should be set aside... Trust me when your my age and getting your a$$ kicked in algebra you'll look back and say,,,,, wtf was I thinking.. You really need to asset your priorities now.. vehicles come and go,, but that free education your getting right now will place you in society in the future... don't waste it..
  20. There was a thread not long ago about 3 rows,,, I think Blitz may have started it or something.. Did that 3 row have a rad cap or was it closed?
  21. OK that makes a whole load of sence to me.. Did you draw up a diagram or just go at with your head..( :wall: ),,ummmmm I mean a mental sketch.. Where did you go for power the fuse block ??
  22. Thats a pretty d@m good price for a 3 row isnt it??
  23. Ha Ha Ha.. That pouch is strapped!! Looks like a good guard though.. I wouldn't park near your truck either if I saw him!
  24. I think you meant the control unit is in the drivers side left door, right? :D Also JT, I replaced quite a few power window regulators in several different models, and have never seen the window motors wired through relays. They just don't pull enough amps to justify it. That also goes for power sunroofs, power rear sliders, etc. No I really think the units on the right doors,, reasons are; theres 4 connectors on the right door, three on the drivers,, + the fuse box is on the passengers kick panel..,, but there is a main power connector going to the drivers door,, (its heavier gauge wiring and looks like its kinda fried a bit I'll post a picture) I have the specs on the 97+ and the 2000 fsm and the specs are a little different.. The 97 schematics have everything going through the right door.. I need to find the exact year the doors came off.. I keep meaning to call about that.. So Hornbrod, you think I should run main power off a relay just to be safe?? I know I'm going with a circuit breaker instead of being fused.. Its going to be later in the summer before I get to this mod, I still have to trim the red doors out in black.. Hopefully I get that done a week or two into April.. here's the connector.. I'm not 100% sure why its fried, but something was going on at one time. Image Not Found here's the wiring thats on the back side of that connector.. looks to be rigged up by someone. Image Not Found here's why I'm thinking the right doors have all the controls in them.. I could be reading it wrong though,, but it looks like everythings going through the passengers door.. Image Not Found
  25. I don't know if I should of done this, but I don't have the brake booster or the clutch MC in my truck right now and its been raining alot here and I always got a puddle in the floor,, + the other day I washed out under the cowl and water came in on the passengers side.., so I just took a 3/16" drill bit and drilled about five holes in my floor.. It helped all the water drain, but like I said I don't know if those holes I drilled will help or hurt in the long run.. :dunno:
