  1. Rear Window Glass..... Rear Window Trim/Gasket....Interior lights ( love my upgrades but originals will always be sought after ), cab vent covers, Parking Brake Release, Rear brake proportioning valve, sun visor center lock/holder, Exterior Cab Light....
  2. I found...almost mistakenly that one of the later model Pentastar small cars 5-speed knob works just fine... fits my hand perfectly and has the correct shift pattern.... after sorting thru my parts on the way back out of the yard at the local Pull-A-Part I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out what I had taken it from!
  3. I need to look to see if I have this from a factory bumper I just replaced. Are you looking for super duper condition or anything? One of them I had to cut the nuts off with my Dremel tool.
  4. Try this... http://www.summitracing.com/search/year/1988/make/jeep/model/comanche/department/exterior-accessories/section/bumpers-accessories
  5. The JCR looks to be a terrific and quality product. And now it ships for FREE! I now have a FEY and Mounts that was sold to me by a member here on CC ( THANKS THANKS THANKS ). Not sure about the LB vs SB question but I can't imagine that the rear of the frame is actually where the difference would be. Now my research found the FEY and the Mount Kit is sold at Summit Racing and the shipping from them is heavily discounted lately. http://www.summitracing.com/search/year/1988/make/jeep/model/comanche/department/exterior-accessories/section/bumpers-accessories Now I did make a template of the mounts that came with mine. They should be super easy to make up but the mount kit is priced pretty good at $50. Good Luck!
  6. Well while I've been EXTREMELY pleased with the drop in bed liners with the trucks I've previously owned for the the Comanche I've decided on this: http://www.tptools.com/U-Pol-Raptor-Spray-On-Truck-Bed-Liner-Kit,2600.html which I learned about from a buddy ( and fellow CC member ).
  7. gogmorgo...THOSE are some pristine bumper mounts. Got some off eBay. Local shop said..."Yeah we could make those but you wouldn't want to pay us to do it." At lease they said it before just accepting the job. Summit seems like a OK deal...but you are still spending $200 for a bumper... http://www.summitracing.com/search/year/1988/make/jeep/model/comanche/department/exterior-accessories/section/bumpers-accessories?SortBy=Default&SortOrder=Ascending I won't even say that I walked away from a pretty nice rear bumper and tail gate at the local YJ two weeks before buying the MJ (yes, kick me RIGHT there..it's already sore.)
  8. So since I am in Georgia what's the delivery fee? ;)
  9. So as lucky would have it...at the Pull-A-Part yesterday and came home with a new(er) ( to me ) shift boot WITH the bezel for my mini console. The old boot was in SAD shape with holes large enough to almost put your hand through. As the same lucky would have it it will NOT stay clipped into the console. It is stiffer that the old wore out one. Need suggestions ( other than sell it all to you ( my buddy told me that one already))
  10. Good job! I searched and searched since my column was bubba repaired. Finally came across a column on eBay for $125 and the seller ended up sending column and steering wheel all as one. Swapped it in about an hour. Biggest PITA was doing it by myself ( as usual ) and figuring out how to stabilize the remaining shaft at the firewall long enough to push the interior column through the firewall and into/onto the other shaft. These columns used to be so common. Not anymore. One steering wheel guy here in town told me he now does so few he has almost taken the tools out of his truck. SAD.
  11. Good Luck. Since you asked. I know because I just bolted up a set of new tires/wheels I scored from my buddy ( THANKS P.S. ) and almost immediately noticed this....click, click, click from the left front...Pulled the wheel the wheel had a double layer of stick on weights.... the spring on the caliper was scraping the double stacked weights....so I swapped it with the wheel from the back. :)
  12. Spring retainer on the caliper has is most likely hitting your rim. Use stick on weights? Ask me how I know :)
  13. hornbrod..... that is the one I found ( from you in another post ) I'm using it to educating myself with. This was the one time I actually wanted an iPad or something with me at the JY. only....I found two ( out of 2 Comanches and 30 Cherokees ) that was my setup ( manual, tilt, int wipers ). May go back and get the one. It was at the the one yard that pretty much is 60% more expensive than anybody else. I really prefer rebuilding over just swapping but I understand you point.
  14. So I've finally crossed over into MJ land. Have the XJ, KJ, KK. Have owned another XJ and YJ. Am excited to get things going with this one. Biggest issue right now is the steering column. It's a mess. It works...but I wondered if I would make it home alive. After reading over SEVERAL steering column rebuilds I am trying to get my thoughts around getting it rebuilt correctly. Not many have full pictures all the way down to nothing. Here is what we are starting with. 1988 Comanche Pioneer, 250K showing, PO says motor replaced ( he only had it two weeks, basically he pawn a title for a buddy in a jamb and didn't want the truck ) 4.0, 5spd, Air (works), very minor body damage...paid less than $900 and drove it home 40 miles in Sat Atlanta traffic! Yes, that is an Explorer in the background. Son just had to buck dad's system of Jeepdom. here is what I have to deal with on the steering column Any additional links that I may have missed would be appreciated. I practiced the tear down on a couple of local JY Jeeps today. Broke my brand new Pivot Pin tool quickly! Have reached out to a local Atlanta steering column rebuild guy. Never hurts to be told what experience is worth. Here are the McGuyverNeck switches that you must operate to get the brake lights and blinkers to work. The one small switch is the wipers. Yes, it was fun indeed driving home...kinda rainy, needing to run the lights, not quite sure how everything worked. My escort back home pulled up and informed me quickly..."uhh you need to figure out which of those switch combinations give you brake lights!"
  15. I have two sets..... USED.... if you send me your email I will send you pictures of all that I have. These include the bulb pigtails and are $65 a set. August 17, 2013 SORRY This set has now been purchased.
  16. Have a buyer looking over the two sets that I have. After they decided I would shoot you a set of pictures. Set $70.00 shipped.
  17. What is my pristine extra in the garage worth to ya? Atlanta, GA
