    %^&@#$*!$@ AT&T

I recently dropped AT&T dialup and went to DSL. I was amazed that when you called AT&T, they can't communicate with other departments. It took 2 separate calls to get them out of my life, I feel sorry for you for having to keep them.
  2. The part number is pb-77 hd (Bower) for the ax-15 swap, the Dorman line has that bushing under a different part number, and that is the $2 one. I would get one and see if it will fit on your NV shaft, I did some checking on NAPA's web site and it may not work, or something custom may need to be done. I know others have done this swap, and may be able to confirm that this bushing will work.
  3. From what I have heard, it is supposed to be a limited slip when unlocked, but they have had many problems. If you are going to spend that kind of money, I think the ARB is a better buy, even though the install is not as easy. A friend of mine has the OX locker, and he is very happy with it.
  4. I rode in a TJ a few weeks ago that had that thing in it, the e-locker did not work as a limited slip at all, and when we engaged it, nothing!! either. Every now and then, it would try to work, but nothing. I have an ARB in mine, but have not wheeled it yet.
  5. Hey---I did that too!!! I have floppy bedsides too!!!!
  6. mine was $169 from Performance off road center, and it is the same as the AA one. There are very few companies actually "making" a sye kit, most of them are reboxed. (Mine was made in China or Japan)
  7. That is a current picture. C-rok steering brace going on this weekend, but I don't have enough time to get it ready for toys for tots. Brian
  8. Remember w i d e r is better  Image Not Found that's with the 35x15.5 sx swampers. you may need to work some magic to get it running right for me.
  9. I finally got a digital camera, anyway here is my rust that says Jeep on it. I have been working on it longer than my nephews have been alive (I have 3 now). I know that it don't look like much, but it has served me well. There is an air system that needs to be installed, and my $2 shelf it! from the swap meet is sitting on the roof to go in. (yes that is a air horn on the roof off of a Mack truck, I don't know where to put it) Image Not Found
  10. That's funny, I thought that that was what I was asking. I don't want to come off wrong, but I want numbers, not "it depends where your mounts are" I know that, that is why I put that in my original question. Even part numbers of shocks will help. For those of you who did not use your stock upper mounts, tell me why, please.
  11. For those of you who did not catch it--Pics 1-4 are of TTC Competitor Ron George. He is in the current issue of Four Wheeler that just came out.
  12. may try to do some forklift flexin this weekend, if I have to I will poke my shocks up through the bed.
  13. I was wondering what people are running for shocks in the rear, I know that there are no 2 Comanches lifted the same and I also know that everyone has their shock mounts in different positions (My mounts are off the rear of the axle--straight back, then I am planning on using the stock upper mounts) What brand? What part number?(or What were they supposed to fit?) I am about to do some forklift flexin' and am planning on measuring, but I would like an idea :hmm:
  14. That snap-on reamer has a lifetime warranty too!! I have turned in 2 for warranty for guys in my club.
  15. I am going to try to make it to Dan's (won't have the Comanche)
  16. I was at that race in Des Moines, but I did not take any pictures (I was in High School) Brian
  17. I put 77 Blazer calipers on my 9" I have in my Comanche. I used 82 Waggy front brake hoses to connect them. I am leaking brake fluid between the block and the caliper, around the copper washer. I have tried every length banjo bolt I could find and have used new copper washers almost every time I have had this apart. Do I need to be running a different line, like Monte Carlo lines? I would post pics but my camera (and wife) is in Spain and won't be home until August. On the rear axle my rubber hoses at the calipers hook up to the hard line through a GM style bulkhead fitting with a jam nut (I think s-10s are like this too) and the other end has the block with 2 ears coming off the sides. I am gong to try repositioning the block, and get some copper washers from somewhere else and try that. anything else I can do? do they make a fitting that screws right into the caliper and eliminates the banjo bolt?
  18. On the pigtails that are on your "trailer lights" it goes like this: Red--Stop/turn Black--marker/tail light white--ground as far as what wire to hook it to, go to the weather pack plug (you did not cut that off too, did you??) with a test light and do one function at a time (left turn, right turn, marker light, and reverse lights (if you are going to run them). The other wire that is left should be the ground wire, but verify that too with your test light. Have a piece of paper handy and write down what each color does. If someone has a FSM they could tell you what each wire does, but that's not as fun.
  19. use 74 chevy spindles and 79 F150 hubs and rotors (check Advance Auto Parts for these $25 ea ) Somewhere on Pirate there is a write up on this, and also search for mr n's dana 44 web page, it has a ton of great info on it.
  20. The bolts that go into the block from the bellhousing are plain old 3/8 bolts, coarse thread.
  21. bower pb77hd if you have your parts guy cross that over to one made by dorman, you will find the $2 bushing. 74 CJ5 with a 258 engine will get you there too!
  22. I would like to go to wolf creek pass I don't think there is a Shelby Co tribune but there is a Nishnabotna river in western Iowa (a shelby county too)
  23. i also bought a 25 foot roll of brake line, my local Car Quest had the nuts that I needed for the 3/16 line. Auto Zone has the brake line fitting adapters (they should also have the nuts). I am running a 69 Camaro master cylinder and a Summit racing adjustable porportining valve (I was going to run the XJ one, but the "it should work"line bothered me).
  24. I am going to try to make it for HoWiEpaLoOzA
  25. Who had the beer
