  1. Pretty much finalized. I do not have the engine and transmission in the truck yet so the front end is sitting ridiculously high. The price of this lift might go up just a little if front spring spacers or 6.5" springs are required.
  2. I have a cleaned, machined, and prepared engine block back. I am working on the head right now and wish I had dug into it sooner. The exhaust valves are pitted from oil leaking through the valve stem seals.
  3. Yes, it looks like their CDN is having issues.
  4. MrSimon's pictures are hosted on http://home.comcast.net/ which is a dead site. CTswampyankee's Facebook linked pictures were deleted from Facebook. Same with some of Neohic's Facebook pictures. Though Basically if it says "Posted Image" that means the image host they were using deleted the images, a dead site, or the host is experiencng service issues. For Facebook they are probably having an issue.
  5. Bidding before the last minute on an eBay auction is a waste of time and just drives the price up.
  6. I just mixed a perfect looping ring tone. Uncompressed, untouched, ready for editing loop https://dl.dropbox.c...wdisfunJeep.wav Compressed and normalized iPhone ring tone https://dl.dropbox.c...eepRingTone.m4r Compressed and normalized MP3 ring tone https://dl.dropbox.com/u/9392221/4wdisfunJeepRingTone.mp3 Uncompressed and normalized WAV ring tone https://dl.dropbox.c...eepRingTone.wav
  7. Are you going to bring it to the York, PA Jeep show next year? I plan to be there and would love to see another 1997+ conversion in person. :D
  8. The kit is about $100. However, you pretty much can not use the surface spray for about three weeks otherwise it will possibly tear or flatten the area. As well, it has to avoid getting wet.
  9. They picture that as the five blade fan though.
  10. Right at 1:43. Such a clean engine!
  11. You have to go back into the house hold fabric and curtain area. When in doubt, ask the nice ladies. :D
  12. He measured 2,300CFM for the stock electric fan. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/electric-cooling-fan-cfm-rating-tests-results-1182706/ If you manage to find one unbroken in a junkyard you should buy it. A brand new TYC 620560 is $60 through http://www.rockauto.com.
  13. Both my headliner and sun visors are falling apart. I am resewing the sun visors and regluing a new headliner with black headliner material I bought at JoAnn. They generally always have a discount coupon up here. http://www.joann.com/coupon/
  14. The old neutral safety switch got to play with Mister Crowbar just to come off. I picked up a replacement for $12 from LKQ that has less little wear on it. Just took some cleaning to make it all shiny!
  15. As well the 1996 and up blocks have extra ribbing for better structural integrity. Which is why I am building my stroker based off one of those.
  16. The bolts in the clevis/shoe can be replaced. Just cut through the welds and put a regular bolt through.
  17. "Comanche wipes out the competition!" *Shows video clip of blowing up a military Jeep.*
  18. The pistons, piston rings, main bearings, camshaft bearings, and oil pan came in today. The block is going to the machine shop tomorrow for decking and boring along with getting the rods machine to fit the pistons.
  19. It is a nice color that was also used on Chrysler minivans. :D
  20. At least your version has a license plate mount!

"Hi, other person's insurance company, I need you or your designated repair agent to locate a good condition Jeep Comanche rear bumper. You have thirty days." *Beep!*
  22. There is no crack there that I can tell. This is what I did with tinted U-POL Raptor in my Wrangler. I do love the product when it is applied properly!
  23. Says they plan to release it on Black Friday. That means business!
  24. Soda blasters are awesome!
