Dana/Perfect Circle cruise control field depot calibrator

This is a bit of an oddity as I can literally find absolutely nothing on this unit anywhere

Best guess is when malfunctioning control boxes were sent back to depots this would be used to test, diagnose and calibrate them before shipping them back out but thats just a guess at this point

Its fully self contained and set up to test any of the control boxes including the mid 80s self contained supercruise

1V and 2V are different versions of the Supercruise, I've never seen what a 3V is, finding anything on the normal supercruise is hard enough as it is other than knowing Sears sold it as the Autocruise II

They did not make a custom harness in there, they simply shoved a full automotive harness in the guts alongside a custom board

It is very 80s handmade

It alongside the vacuum pump powers on but it doesn't do anything so it requires some tracing to repair but its a bit of a backseat to my work on reverse engineering the computer used on the feedback computer used with the 4.2 and 2.5L but eventually I'll trace the circuits and find the malfunction.

Its an oddity so if anyone has info about it I'm all ears.

Or happens to have any documents on the supercruise they'd be willing to scan and upload, nothing related to that cruise control has been digitized and uploaded anywhere as well

Ohhhh so cool. Much easier than jacking the rear wheels of my MJ up and testing each module haha.

And possibly a little bit safer too
