Help Needed, Breezer Rear Window

Hey folks, I have been looking at getting a Breezer window for my truck to replace the old busted slider that I currently have. They don't have the Comanche listed on their site so I reached out about a custom window. For those that don't know, a Breezer window is a totally removable rear window that opens the back end of the truck up. Here is their site. I reached out to them and chatted with Ben Kosh. He said that all they need to make a custom window is the traced outline of the glass and the dimensions (vertically in the center, horizontally at the top and bottom). 

 

Since my window is still in the truck, if someone has a rear window sitting out could they make a trace of it on a sheet of paper and measure what those dimensions are? 

 

He also said that if a few guys also ordered one it would waive the design costs. Right now the windows are $650 so if anyone is interested they could jump in!

Hmm This looks intriguing for an option for a rear window.  even if you never remove it!

I actually have an apointment at the local glass place for them to pull and rebed the rear window.  maybe can have the glass guys talk?

So just got back from the glass place.  I traced the rear window and took a bunch of pictures.

I have a couple of project trucks that are going to be getting the rear glass pulled and replaced.  I would be interested in hearing about getting in on the group buy.

I emailed the pictures to Breezer windows, I spoke to them and I am mailing a traced outline of the window also,  He said will be good to go when receives it.

What does the pricing look like with the design costs waived?

If they do produce an MJ part, would it be a limited production run?

 

Has a group-buy discount been mentioned at all, or just the opportunity for development costs to be waived?

I sounds like once they have a CAD file for the window they can make them on demand. Not really a production run style.

Did you chat anymore with them? The fella I talked to was Ben and he said he has not received anything about it.
