Tow hooks “most brackets’

Good find, but there is a lot missing there. And to the seller's credit, he is upfront about it.

 

To my eye, those hooks are not factory and the curved pair of braces and a pair of tow eye brackets are missing.

Yes, he says most of that but I’ve never seen the tow eye brackets except in the parts catalog. I would love to see a picture of those actual brackets, in place would be even better.

As far as I know you could get either the tow eye brackets or the hooks. They are interchangeable and not designed to be used together. Those hooks appear to be original. I pulled the same set off a '87 Cherokee in the junkyard.

They are, you can still get them actually. Warn makes them.

No...I dont. I sold these about a year ago. Best way I can describe was that its that bar welded to the eye.

Those look to be factory hooks. And these are the brackets that are missing. Uni-body tie-ins to tow hooks.

Who says you can’t have tow hooks and tow eyes at the same time? I placed them facing backwards so they would fit. They’re Toyota brackets from FJ Cruisers/4 Runners, the round bar is 3/4” thick.
