I don’t think any of us are terribly social, that’s why we build Jeeps and hang out here Let’s hear more about the Jeep! What’s the story behind it and what have you done to it? TheMaddTitan13
& It dosent help that I've never met another 'manche driver, I've only physically seen 2 others lol. I drove by this scrapyard for years and never even noticed them, but in the corner, there are several gladiators that are just heartbreaking to see(i like the ole j10s, but the mj as always been THE vehicle). In the midst of the j10s are 2 comanches, ones a 4banger auto and mine, a gorgeous 4.0, 4wd, 5speed, 68k, everything original but the suspension. I Flintstoned it home, half @$$ patched the floor with some scrap. Had to change the bushings, tie rods, and fluids, but she runs like a dream(except that dang micro exaust manifold leak) I have a front locker and vacuum deleated/2piece swap, some lights, I welded new floor pans and patched/treated the rest of the inside rust, new carpet, headliner, removable doors(mj windows! I can wrap a mover blanket around the bottom door and toss them in my bed. No issues even rock crawling!) I to replace the map sensor and all the vacuum lines. Next project is the damn a.c. and maybe a tranny/transfer cooler(idk if possible haven't looked into it too much yet) I'm in alamance county, nc. Gojira94
Welcome to another NC'er! I love the Saxapahaw General Store. I met another clubber at our local pick-n-pull a couple years ago and another member here in Clayton. We just got another one in Garner recently.
