Since I learned earlier that the dye I put in originally is persistent, if there is any coolant there that got there since July, the blacklight should point that out pretty quickly. It stands out better at night, so I'll take a look after sundown.
AnotherOldJeepGuy Posted Tuesday at 12:41 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:41 AM Got under there with the light, I don't think I see anything that convinced me it was coolant. There were a variety of colors here and there, hard to know what all may have been collected there over the last 36 years .
89 MJ Posted Tuesday at 02:31 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:31 AM Have you let it get up to temp and then inspected everything under the hood while it’s running? It might be pushing out somewhere while it’s running and the cooling system is pressurized.

Yeah I have looked both running and not running and anything I have been able to find visually has been fixed. But I may not be seeing every possible spot.
AnotherOldJeepGuy Posted Thursday at 05:27 PM Posted Thursday at 05:27 PM Coolant dropping fast . My center mark is basically at the target fill level. At this rate it looks like I will have to refill to that target level every ~300 miles. Delivery tracking says my oil sample should get to Blackstone sometime today, should not be too long until I have analysis to show if it's going into the oil or not.

Hold your breath and cross your fingers. I am pretty sure you will tell us the results, one way or another
fiatslug87 Posted Thursday at 06:08 PM Posted Thursday at 06:08 PM It usually takes Blackstone a week to send results.
