The first magazine publication of the Jeep Comanche

I thought this would be interesting to share.

 

I subscribed to Peterson's 4 Wheel & Off-Road magazine back in the day and I found this issue recently. It has the "First Look" at the Jeep Comanche and there is also "Win a Jeep Comanche" at their annual off-road event ad.

I remember one of the 4x4 mags had a list of performance specs in the back. I believe the Comanche was the fastest production 4x4 that they tested in the late 80's. I left boxes of magazines in the attic of my rental, I'll have to dig through them someday.
