I purchased a cover for my '89 Comanche.  I forgot what it was.  I thought it for a Ford Ranger, but not sure.  Looking to purchase another for my '92 Eliminator, any suggestions.

Just to throw this out there, a few of us here are running a rolling hardtop cover from truck covers USA. It’s a pricey item but the functionality and quality is top tier.

Still searching for a tonneau cover for a longbed. I don't know of any. Hopefully I'll find one for a ford, chevy, toyota or nissan that's dimensionally compatible

if I remember right, the longbed S-10s can share toppers with MJs, I wonder if the tonneaus are similar?

According to this thread:

The long bed GMC Sonoma / Chevy S10 Tonneau cover seems to dimensionally fit:

The differences are minuscule as any differences have to be divided by 1 half as ea side takes up the distance taper.

I found the s10 bed dimensions on the s10 forum. The longbed S10 measures 88.31in, incredibly close to the 88in length of the comanche longbed.

I checked more modern vehicles and it seems the 7ft bed sonoma / s10 is the only real option for the comanche longbed

The specific Tonneau cover mentioned in that thread is the Access TonnoSport Tonneau Cover 22020159

This is a video showing the install of that tonnosport cover on a s-10. I don't know if the video shows a longbed or not:

This is the one I purchased and it fits okay but not great. It is the right width at the tailgate but not towards the cab. It is a little to narrow.

I have a toolbox in the bed of my truck and had to shorten it length wise. The frame comes apart and was easy to shorten the hard part was the sewing the cover.

If I was to do it again I would buy the same cover for a full size truck and cut the frame down to fit the bed better and redo the cover completely to fit the modified frame.

Edit: it is for a Ford ranger 82-13
