Team91 Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Well I’ve done it again, meaning twice. I’ve purchased two MJ’s this year, I couldn’t help myself and bless my wife’s heart for not losing it lol. The new to me Comanche will be delivered this evening, I’m not intending to keep both but the price was right on this 92 short bed
Team91 Posted June 7, 2024 Author Posted June 7, 2024 My next big hurdle is deciding what parts to salvage off of the 91 sportruck. I would like the trans, tcase and front axle from red since the 92 is 2wd but not sure if I’m ready for such an adventure 😳 decisions decisions. More pics to follow soon
Team91 Posted June 7, 2024 Author Posted June 7, 2024 The rust on red is pretty knarly while the 92 is very clean that is the dilemma.
fiatslug87 Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Welcome to CC. Looks like a fun project?, remember to add both MJs to the Registry.
pizzaman09 Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 Mmmm, those squiggle sport truck graphics are my favorite. I've been really tempted to get a custom set of those Sportruck graphics made for my Eliminator.
Pete M Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 score! I would keep both and leave teh 92 as-is and start taking it to car shows. but if I couldn't keep both, I would start hunting for a 4wd XJ donor and then sell the red truck whole. all MJs deserve to be saved. there are fewer than 19,000 left on the roads.

Agree with Pete. If I had a 91 and 92, I'd polish em every month I wonder if the 91 and 92 years had duct-tape splices in the engine wiring harness like the '88...
DesertRat1991 Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 Welcome! Quite the dilemma. I'm somewhat partial to color matched camper shells.
