Muncher Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 What do you guys have for upgraded all aluminum radiators for the more square style radiators? Can't seem to find any.
eaglescout526 Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Don’t waste your time. The tanks are plastic. Your better off using the original or getting a crown one which are made out of all metal like the original.
The86manche Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 I have been looking for the same style for my 2.8. Had bought one off ebay a while back but unfortunately for me the company had just changed from all aluminum to plastic. Never really looked since.
dasbulliwagen Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 I bought an all aluminum one just after the pandemic hit, when my last replacement plastic tank model blew apart. I havent needed to look since, but I would think that they were out there somewhere. I just did a quick search on Amazon, and found several all aluminum options.
russel730 Posted October 9, 2022 Posted October 9, 2022 I used this one from O'Reilly in July. https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/murray-heat-transfer/engine-cooling/radiator/radiator/02ac48565f9e/murray-heat-transfer-radiator/rht0/433871/v/a/2238/automotive-truck-1988-jeep-comanche It's only single row but there's no plastic. I kept my OEM radiator to have it recored eventually. So far the aluminum one is holding up just fine.
