camjeep3
Been "out of the game" for about 10 years(time flys) Curious to know what the consensus is on aftermarket body parts. Specifically fenders. Are they worth messing with? If I can order a set and not have to deal with Craigslist or a junk yard I'm all fpr it. Also. My my needs the door hinge fix. I see a new company sells a plate that beefs up both hinges. Any experience with this? Anyways. I'm happy to start turning some wrenches again! MiNi Beast
Fenders just order and replace. Hit and miss on fitment. Hinge setup i have seen is a worthy upgrade opportunity. Welcome back to the nuts and bolts game.
gogmorgo
Good news if you haven't heard yet, in the last couple years Key Parts has started producing some high-quality panels that didn't exist ten years ago. Rockers, beside patches, taillight lenses currently available with more in the works. Fenders are definitely available from the aftermarket, although I would still look for an original in good condition if you can find one. Large panels like that can get damaged in shipping pretty easily, unless you've got a good local supplier.

ghetdjc320
I bought a set of replacement fenders from C2C. They have an econo and an oem line. The oem line run about $150/ea but they are a good fender. Fitment is really nice as is the thickness of the material used. I bet that they are made in the same factory as Key Parts (Taiwan).
