I can't say anything for their quality myself, but from the I think 2 reviews I saw, they seem to be decent for the price.

In the pictures on their website, it is hidden from view for the most part, and therefor I had thought it would use short arms. Did I NOT say I may not be seeing the whole picture?

pingpong Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 IIRC the RE kit is basically Drop brakets, and a spring over axle swap in the front. Which goes back to my original statement that XJ lifts on the front, and shackles, aal or soa in the rear. :brows:

pingpong Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 for 2 inches of lift, you really don't need to change anything.. just don't expect a flex monster. 3" and you are going to need longer brake lines, and longer shocks, as well as rerouting of your ebrake cable. anything over 3" you will need longer control arms on the Lowers, and possibly on the uppers. Longer brake lines, longer shocks, adjustable trac bar new sway bar ends. Like others have said depending on the size of the lift... depends on what you need

JEEPERZ Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 i have great advice, don't DO WHAT I DID! i thought i was going to save money by buying different parts from different places. i had a list and started buying parts here and there. not a great idea. i think it cost me alot more in the long run. i also did a bolt on soa in the rear, another mistake, should have welded.(next project) i strongly suggest getting a good kit that is all put together. in my experience, i would have saved alot of money doing it that way. also, if your going with 6.5" of lift, save yourself another headache and go with long arms right from the get go. to do it again, i would go with motion or RE. your in the right place though. good luck :cheers:

I want 3" of lift for the rear on mine. I have a set in the garage I havnt put on yet. They have two holes for height. 1" or 2" depending on the hole you bolt.

I want 3" of lift for the rear on mine. That will depend on WHAT Chevy shackles you buy.... Shackles only lift one end on the leaf. So you need TWICE the measured amount go get the lift you want. In other words, a 6" longer shackle than stock will net you about 3" of lift. (Not exactly, but damn close) Personally, I do not recommend any more than 1-2" from a shackle alone. Factory shackles are 4.5" eye to eye, so adding 6" to that 4.5" measurement nets you a MONDO LEGNTH shackle. don't DO IT!!! IMHO, ;) CW PS To answer your question... Many I have found are the same legnth as our Comanches. But MUCH beefier!!! You will need to get into DROP SHACKLES to get a longer unit and any lift. Some/many Chevys use an upside down shackle compaired to our Comanches.
