Pete M
the cluster and its linkage should definitely be saved. if it's cheap enough I'd definitely get it from you and add it to the Jeep shelf until someone has the need. (the column should be saved too, but that's likely too much in shipping for me )
87MJTIM
Someone got there before me (Bueler?). They knew what to get. Gone were: tailgate, tail lights, fuel sender, rear interior panel, rain gutters, B pillar vents, and 10 slot grill. I got the interior panels and seat belts. Pete M
so who got the cluster? or is it still there?
87MJTIM
Still there. I tried to get it but I couldn’t get my hand up under the dash. the bench is still there, also. Fabric was good. Just dirty. https://locations.lkqpickyourpart.com/md/baltimore/6201-erdman-avenue
cruiser54
Are column shifters in demand?
Pete M
not like other parts are "in demand" (like a grade A bucket seat would be), but when someone needs one, they are super hard to find.

cruiser54
No. It's in a friend's truck. He's swapping it out for a non-column shift column he's getting from me.

eaglescout526
Oh hey you could stop on by if you come into town if you’d like.
cruiser54
I'd love to, but my primary reason for going to Phx is a Dr visit. I haven't mentioned this before now, but I had a detached retina in late July. I have a wonderful eye surgeon who fixed it all up and I need to see her for a final visit tomorrow. Then I have an afternoon meeting in Cave Creek. I do need to go back down in the future to pick up 2 Alfas near Bell Road. Are you near there? Are you interested in that column? I'll ask Mel if he's gonna keep it or not.
BeaterComanche86
@87MJTIM I was just there last Saturday, and it was already picked clean. Got the fender flares though That was the first MJ I’ve seen in any of there yards around Baltimore so I had to check it out, so much rust…
87MJTIM
Only 86,000 miles and so much rust. It must have been parked in salt water I saw one other MJ in a yard in Mt Airy several years ago.
