Pete M
I've discovered the "brine soak". :D I made a chicken with this method a couple weeks ago and it turned out so well that I was suddenly put in charge of the turkey this year. Guess I did too good a job.

rockhardzj
I just had the best turkey ever! My step bro thought up of the recipe. smoke the turkey, stuffed with chopped apples, raisins, and brown sugar, and basted in pretty much a sauce of whats inside, along with using wood to burn it from an apple tree for added flavoring. He smoked it from 3am till about 6:30pm. The gravy had some apple juice mixed in to go with the turkey, and it made for an excellent meal! Happy turkey day everyone!
