CGCWO Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Replacing the upper front control arm bushings. Does anyone have a trick, homemade or special tool to set the bushings in the axle housing? Not enough room for a deadblow hammer.
Strokermjcomanche Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Suck it through with a bolt or ball joint tool .

howeitsdone Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 This is what I used to remove and install. A Ball joint press. But I also had my axle out as well. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N7CO50E?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
rsmecham Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 I just got mine replaced today with a sledgehammer but my axle was also out from underneath the truck. I'll second what these other guys have said, maybe rent a bushing install/removal tool from your local autozone if you don't want to buy one yourself
Crash Posted August 19, 2021 Posted August 19, 2021 I put my replacements in the freezer beforehand. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
