Upper Control Arm Bushings

Replacing the upper front control arm bushings. Does anyone have a trick, homemade or special tool to set the bushings in the axle housing? Not enough room for a deadblow hammer.

Suck it through with a bolt or ball joint tool .

I have these in mine. They are kinda cheating you reuse the sleeve.

This is what I used to remove and install. A Ball joint press. But I also had my axle out as well.

I just got mine replaced today with a sledgehammer but my axle was also out from underneath the truck. I'll second what these other guys have said, maybe rent a bushing install/removal tool from your local autozone if you don't want to buy one yourself

I put my replacements in the freezer beforehand.
