ghetdjc320
I know many of you have installed aftermarket seats in you trucks but most of that info is in the builds section. I’d like to put out a pic and tech information request to any who have done seat swaps with new aftermarket seats. Not looking at any junkyard seat swaps, only new seats. If all you have time for is a quick pic of your install that’s fine. If you can provide any more details like fitment issues, and installation that would be very helpful as well. Limeyjeeper
I used the PRP Enduro's. Great seat with a ton of fabric options. I used them primarily so I could increase the rake and push them back as I am so tall. The stock seats don't have any thigh support for tall people. ghetdjc320
Awesome, thanks! Very clean install. Did you fab up your own brackets or use some from PRP?
70barracuda
Procar seats by scat. When I bought them they had comanche listed available for brackets but have since removed and when I called about them they said the jig was wrong and won't be offering them anymore. So I had used the krustyballer brackets with the universal seat brackets. ALOT of work to make them work but it came out pretty good.
neohic
I want to say these are older PRP suspension seats: This was in my old ‘86. The seats came used out of an early Scout that also need a narrower seat to fit right. Custom mounts, obviously. I’m 6’ tall and these fit perfectly in a very comfortable position. ghetdjc320
Great pics! This should be very helpful for those looking for new seat options (maybe even myself sometime down the road). I’ve contemplated PRP and Corbeau. Had a set of corbeaus Baja xrs in my YJ and really liked them. Even long trips in them were comfortable. 89eliminator
Corbeau Baja SS using their MJ specific brackets. I had to cut them down because they sat too tall for my liking. As a result of lowering them, I had to also massage (hammer) the trans tunnel so they could still slide. I only did the driver seat, you can kind of see the height difference in the third pic.
