Carter’s 1986 AMC Eagle (plus Eagle axle swap and other tech info)

Saw these super neat photos from 86 in the factory where my car was built. 
If these are different cars, there’s a slight chance that the first one is mine. The second one has vinyl interior, so I know that one isn’t mine. I’ve also included a pic of a nice car. Mine desperately needs paint.

5 sheets of medium density fiberboard at 63lbs each makes for some interesting handling. It did well though.

Still daily driving. Nothing new to report other than hitting 115,000 miles

Coming at some point soon(ish), more fun and fewer cruising rpms.

I’m debating between an AX-15 and a GM NV3500. It’ll probably depend on what I decide to do for an engine.

I am too. The reason I sold the car many years ago was because it didn’t have a manual. Now it’s time to fix that.
