Eli237
Replacing my taillights and previous screws are rusted out. Can anyone point to the correct screws needed?
ghetdjc320
Yikes those lights are rough! I used an M6 socket head screw. It has a perfect size and flat shoulder so it doesn’t split the plastic. Only thing you’ll need is a m6 nut clip.

amsuco
Depending on what you find when you dig deeper in, you might find something worthwhile in this thread. I'm still happy with the route that I went.
AZJeff
Only Jeep would use machine screws to attach tailights 🙄 I switched to Torx head stainless steel #8 (I think) sheet metal screws and “j-nuts” to attach my taillights.
Jesse J
I replaced them with some #8 I got at home depot. . I had to drill out half the screws when removing my lenses the first time and there are still two screws (headless) on my driver lens that are really rusted into the thing and can't get them out still. I have tried vice grips and everything

Lots of good info there. (Sorry, couldn't help myself.)
