1988comanche Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 I'm looking for a in cabin Fuse block, I have a 1988 MJ pioneer 4x2 with the 2.5L i4, would a 1986 block and harness matter? (MJ or XJ) I've been told the whole front clip is identical, but I'm not 100% certain if year takes in effect between 86-92. Were the fuse blocks universal for the diesel, 4x4, 4x2's, i6, i4?
eaglescout526 Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 91-92 are the HO years and are incompatible with the Renix years. 84-90 should work just fine with 84-85 being carb years for all engines and 86 being TBI for the 2.5L. The fuse block is the same as what is used by GM in the same time period.

ghetdjc320 Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 I believe that fuse block is still available new. Try contacting Painless wiring if you need a new one.
