some things I've learned over the years:

-33s only give 1" more ground clearance than 31s but quadruples the headaches

-wheeling your daily hard can cause all sorts of problems when monday rolls around

-closer to stock = better daily driver

-a reliable running truck is the most important thing

-recovery points are a close second

-armor is a close 3rd

-lockers are 4th

-spending money on things you don't actually need depletes your resources and makes it harder to maintain the daily driver status

a 3" lift with good 31s and the proper bumpers and rocker guards makes for a great daily and will easily handle 4x4 duty on the weekends. :L:  you don't need giant tires to go have fun.

:yeahthat:

This is why some of us keep saying 4” or less given the info you’ve provided.

indeed good sir. one must have a good plan and with any good plan, one needs good info, and with collecting good info, one must ask good questions. in doing so one shall create a good project. but it is when the one who knows how it is built and knows its cabilities and has the courage and confidence to drive that good project, then... and only then, will your project be great!! And when you take that first drive your big smile will show every one how great your journey has been. As you hammer down and look into your rear view mirror you'll tell yourself how great you are and yell.."watch out now, greatness coming through!" with that you will continue on to do great things and have a blessed life.

enjoy and keep asking for information, feed your mind.
