Buckets to bench.

How hard is it to swap a bench seat in to a truck that has bucket seats?

 

Also if i was to do this would anyone be intrested in the black center console and bucket seats.

Have read on here that the brackets are the same - so should be able to either take the brackets off of your buckets and use on the bench, or if you get a bench with brackets should bolt right up.

 

I'd be interested in the buckets and console.

an MJ bench will bolt right in.   the tricky bit is the seatbelts.  as in, you've only got the 2, and the female ends have a sheath around them that can complicate inserting them through the bench

So if i unbolted them then slipped them through the top would that be the tricky part?

I don't know for sure.  haven't done it myself.

Where are you in New England? I have a bench seat in the basement that I wouldn't mind swapping for a pair of buckets and a console. I'm in south-central Connecticut.

Idk about the center console but I'd also be interested in the bucket seat.

 

EDIT: I'm not sure how to delete the post so I'm just editing it but I realized I wouldn't be able to afford what those are worth, I'm on a small budget as I'm still in Highschool.

Alright so if i get a bench even without the bracket sliding bucket seat brackets would bolt right to it?

yes.     benches use the same hardware, but only one actual slider per seat.

Oh so i wouldnt be able to slide it basically

for your purposes you'd be missing the long rod that connects them and it might turn into a 2-man operation to slide the seat.  or you can finagle something up.

Nice! Just checked out the Dakota writeups. Lucky for me, my friend pulled a bench out of another Manche. Hoping it'll go in easy
