early comanche owner Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 I am going to look at a 1990 comanche pioneer 4.0 liter 4wd. it has the shifter on the floor , not on the column. it has 7 ft bed, is this normal or was it a conversion? any thoughts? they want 5k and don't know i want to give that much for a conversion. I appreciate your help
Minuit Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 The automatics could either have the shifter on the floor or on the column depending on options. Floor shifters are usually seen with bucket seats and the column shifters always (if I remember right) came with a bench seat.
early comanche owner Posted June 18, 2020 Author Posted June 18, 2020 thanks, I had a comanche brand new in 87 but... typical 18 year old.. it didnt last...lol Just wanted to make sure
Dzimm Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 My 90 Eliminator (bucket seats) had column shift. Seems they could have been ordered either way.
