Scanner

I’ve seen and heard of some scanners for the renix. I know that there was the one guy in NJ who made them but I think he’s out for now. Are there any other scanners for the renix engines that are available?

Do you mean like the MS-1700 scanner or the REM tool?

Snap-On MT2500 with the correct adapter and cartridge, Nickintime REM are the only 2 besides the dealer ship scanner I believe.

There is a SnapOn  scanner that will work with a special module but good luck finding the right one, let alone the correct module.  It's also extremely expensive when you do find one.  

 

The guy in NJ is NickInTimeFilms aka NickInTimeDesign, his website shows them in stock.  Great tool and does way more than the SnapOn one does.

It looks like it’s in back order. There’s a message in the description that says he’s looking for a US assembler for them. I hope he can find someone.

Ah didn't read into it that far.  Hopefully they come off backorder soon.

 

I haven't watched any of his videos in a while, wonder if it's an issue with overseas vendors right now or if he just has too many orders to do final assembly himself anymore.

I ordered one from @NickInTimeFilms via his website less than a month ago, it says they were on back order but I got mine a week after I ordered. I didn’t get any of the extra options so he may have had a few laying around.
