I went on eBay, searched dodge brake pad sensor, found a NOS one. Then an aftermarket and then it led me down a rabbit hole that they went on an 88-90 dodge dynasty. Pete M
my question stands. how can they possibly exist? it's not like they made a ton of Dynastys. I feel you won the nos parts lotto here or something.

Let alone daily driving it. I kinda did though and I’ll take whatever I can scoop up and hopefully have some sensors to last a lifetime. I’ll do a video on where they go soon. I think we all could have a idiot light on our info centers in our MJs let us know when it’s time to change the pads.
watchamakalit
Apparently there isn't a high demand for dynasty parts. I can only assume that is a direct result of cash for clunkers.

It fits the following Chrysler: New Yorker, Daytona, dynasty 84-90 Dodge: Lancer, dynasty, Daytona 84-
eaglescout526
Heres the brake pads And heres a tour of the system sentry. Also got some NOS floor mats again. Nutmeg in color but I think they will help break up the monotony of the tan and blac. And be easier for me to do some shifting and braking. Especially while training my wife on a manual. And! Got a drivers side power seat cover too! Now the interior will be complete! Hod did I go this long with an incomplete interior?
eaglescout526
It’s the little things. Finally got a cover for the drivers side power seat. I have no idea how in the hell I would constantly forget I’m missing that cover haha. Thanks to @JolietJEEP'84 I was able to get that covered and get some NOS nutmeg front floor mats in that are era correct and better fitting than the later thick Chrysler mats. I really love the contrast between the tans and the vinyl floor. Aside from Jeeps interior already popping in the early 80’s, I think having a mix of all 3 tans just makes this look much more cool. eaglescout526
You know, of all the battles I have fought with Chunk, it deiced to give me a break. I did the shackles and was surprised with how easy it was. I did both in less than an hour, found the bolts less than rusted and am happy with the bushings in the leafs enough to not change them right now. At some point I will but not now. Oh and the hood latch is failing, the tension spring for the actual latching mechanism disappeared again...so I made a new one for the time being. Since I have the week off, I will be attempting the power antenna install. Hopefully I dont run into a whole lot of issues, but it should be fun and absolutely be a rare option and will finish off the whole power package, minus the windows. Havent brought myself to change those out yet...
Pete M
man, I wish my Jeeps gave me a christmas present of an "easy chore".

I’ll take this more often please. Speaking of gifts: I got a NOS fender bolt when I got the fender movable. I was shocked to find that. Meaning someone lost the fender when they were putting Chunk together in 1984. Also the power antenna is doing power antenna things!!
eaglescout526
Yeah....This was worth the hassle. I now have every power feature Jeep offered to the XJ. Probably one of the most loaded XJs out there.
