eaglescout526 Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 Recently I learned that I don't need to change the bell house to swap from an internal to external slave set up for the AX5. So I am in search of all the pieces related to the external clutch. I am not to sure if the newer stuff will work, I am just goin off of what the catalog showed me for the bell house I have. 25, 22, 24, 18, 19 are the pieces I am in search of. here's the coveted Clutch throwout lever:

eaglescout526 Posted October 10, 2020 Author Posted October 10, 2020 Yeah I have. The later style uses a different set up that requires me to change the bell. The 84-86 external set up just has me drop the trans, swap the input shaft cover and put in the external set up with the bell house and done. I already have the external slave and trans cross over pipe.

But I didn’t get a good look as I was laying in soaking wet grass looking for rust holes lol. I couldn’t even get any info off the diff tag to see what ratio it is. But the idea was for little red as I am getting fed up with the internal system.

I snapped a quick pic as I walked by as I was on a mission to find an engine block for my Olds. Their inventory list isn't very accurate.
