jdog
Not a full Vin, either a state given vin or someone just screwing around. Any other vins available?
eaglescout526
Does this VIN show up on the firewall plate or anywhere? 1JTHL6518HT003073 I think it is this VIN.
Pete M
Hopefully the owner will respond with a pic, but he said it's the same in the engine bay.
eaglescout526
Hmmmm maybe its a very unique MJ that was stumbled upon. We(members who work at dealers or have Chrysler access) have no way of running that VIN. The least amount of digits we can do is the last eight. I agree this is an oddity for sure. Possible import? That's the only thing that kinda makes sense.

I don't think we can really run old 7 digit VINs like that either. I think it is an import/possible prototype that Renault goofed with and then retired it back to the U.S. This is a good mystery. In guessing this was either and import and or a factory test truck. Those are the only reason I know that it wouldn't have a full length VIN. The wired part is even if it was an import the rest of the world adopted the 17 digit VIN in 1981 also. I am very very intrigued by this one!! eaglescout526
Info is the thrill of the addiction with these trucks. Here's something for all the members stuck at home to do.
Warren Mohler
With this truck being equipped the way it is could it possibly be a personal truck say for Jose Dedeurwaerder,?
