We ate at the Boathouse last year.  Excellent food, but bring your wallet, and your spare wallet...lol.

I'd vote for something a bit more casual.

that's why my first choice was Jock's.  :D  Nothing is set in stone though.  I'm open to other ideas, plus we have to stay flexible because we don't know what the weather or the crowds will be.  :L:

a lot depends on how much food people are looking to need.  I'd be perfectly happy getting a giant pretzel and a beer at Jock's. :D   Is there enough on that menu for you and your wife?

If anyone is bringing their MJ, my thought was to all park on the roof of the Lime garage so there's a hope of the trucks being close to each other.  :comanche:

That is a good idea Pete, I am planning on bringing the mj, as for food I am easy to please so whatever gives us the best chance to chill and be able to talk without yelling is great.

also, does anyone need any stickers or club cards?  or not gotten their magnet?  can't get any easier to get them to you than literally handing them over. :D

So......Jock Lindsays then?  Were cool with that.  What time?  We're not getting to Orlando until mid-afternoon, so I'm guessing we won't be able to get there until about 6-7:00.  Is that cool with everyone?

I was thinking on arriving around 5pm to see what's up at the restaurant.  I want to be early enough to reserve a great table or even change plans if necessary.

chances are good I'll have already been at Disney Springs a couple hours by that time.

I have never been to Disney Springs and I am horrible at finding locations - no sense of direction lol. Just need an address, and where we will be parking, so I can punch it into google maps. I am there!

Lime garage, Disney Springs.

that'll get you to parking.  :L:  from there you're going to Jock Lindsey's Hanger Bar.

Google will know what they are.  no need for addresses these days. :D

Anytime is good for me, I will probably get there by 6, can get there earlier if I need to since I am close, hope I4 cooperates, usually fine on the weekends but with all the construction one little fender bender or broken down vehicle just makes a mess of things. They call it the ultimate I4 project, agree with whoever said it first, the ultimate eye sore project.

You’re right, both google and Waze found the location. I am 1 hour and 45 minutes away. I will leave at 4 and that would put me there around 6pm on the top level  of the parking garage. See you all then!

We're wrapping things up here at the homestead.  We fly out @ 12:00 tomorrow, so that gets us to Orlando around 2-ish.  Figure a couple hours getting to the property, getting our luggage and getting set up in the room, were shooting for 6:00 to get there too.  See y'all tomorrow:beerchug:

we've made it to florida.  :D staying at Lake Louisa state park tonight.  I'll see you gentlemen tomorrow evening. :L:

Had a great time last night...great to finally meet you guys.:beerchug:

Pete, you mentioned a Spanish guitarist.  After we left the parking garage and were wandering around aimlessly looking for the cab stand,   I think we found him.  He was playing on one of the stages.  Incredible!  We ended up staying there for about a half hour watching/listening to him.

Off to Epcot in about an hour here, Food and Wine awaits:laugh:

in the grand CC tradition of having so much fun that we forget to take any pics:doh:, here is your sole digital representative of our evening.

It's a gorgeous truck :D

And you had that weapons-grade camera with you all night too:laugh:

Just got back from dinner at Paddlefish.  Quite good grub but we're both exhausted, and old.  Probably be asleep by 10:30 lol.
