MJXJjeepguy
When i was at Tenn, Great Smoky mountains for a jeep show(biggest jeep show in east coast.) Everytime I see XJ, MJ, ZJ, and WJ i always keep my eyes wide open to look for something interested or never seen it before like anything parts, modfity, homemade, anything not common so I could get some idea for my future jeep mainly for my XJ..... So one MJ catch my eyes really good, on what parts? Side mirrors.... It rigid reflects mirrors and i have never seen it before, and never really fan of big name and expensive light, I could never feel care about that just buy knock off brand off eBay light bar. But after my first sight on MJ with rigid LED mirror I start focus and so interested and wanna know more and I knew it would not be cheap but i said myself i must have it so i got talked to the owner and explained me on how thing mount and it was suppose fit on JK with mount kit to fit on JK but not support for MJ or XJ but any jeep just only JK, so he told me there is a Rigid vendor on the other side which i havent look so after i found Rigid vender and talk to the seller about it and they kept told me it won't fit only for JK or RZR with clamp And i show the picture of MJ one i saw with rigid mirror and he said oh that look fit pretty good, after few mins of talking about the mirror he offer me a discount bec he knew that I'm really interested but the problem is I didnt bring enough cash with me well i do that for other thing with family for weekend vacation in Tenn. and i don't really want trun my family down after don't have enough cash with me for rest of weekend so he told me he will still give me discount if i call them and ask for his name so we got deal!! For $500 plus tax, I order and it arrived last week, install over weekend. Here is video I make and it actually my XJ. And now I love Rigid and look forward to buy more off from them. Just copy from factory mirror gasket and marked then cut... Then before u drill or punch take the metal that one already cut just like the gasket... And put on where mirror mount are and mark the the biggest hole that is center where u want to hold it.... And then drill or punch the center and also make a other hole for wiring to go thou... Really basically fab by eye ball nothing serious engineering needed. I will take a better picture of outside on how it look mount i forgot that parts in later today. MJXJjeepguy
More close up picture.... And I took my 98 XJ parts interior as u see there is no stick to adjusting the mirror to make it look clean... Unfortunately $500 mirrors doesn't include stick to adjusting the mirrors u will have to adjusting by hand on the mirror but that ok no big deal. 13 Legion
You did an awesome job! That’s the first I’ve ever seen of those lights. Was the wiring difficult? The pieces you fab’d....do they fit tightly to the door? Did you have to put some type of sealant or gasket around it on the outside for water protection? Again nice work, they sure are bright!! JustEmptyEveryPocket
Thanks, now I want a pair of those! Do you happen to know if they can be ordered with convex glass instead of straight glass? Especially for the passenger side.

I wires white to the signal wires one for left and one for right, now for red i wire with fuse and relay then to switch. It haven't rain yet i will report back after rain and see how it hold up.
