Blaine.D Posted August 22, 2019 Share Posted August 22, 2019 I plan on changing my oil in my B/A 10 and in my search got lost with some forums saying to use 75w-90 gear oil others say to use 10w-30 motor oil . I’ve read several posts that 75/90 and 10/30 are similar. 75/90 has additives that give it that wonderful smell. Cheapamanche Posted August 23, 2019 Share Posted August 23, 2019 The new peugeot factory recommended weight oil is 10w30. It's hard to believe but it's now what is recommended. I switched from Redline mt90 to 10w30 and experienced only better results. Smoother shifts, quieter. The BA10/5 also uses aluminum synchros just so you know. No yellow metals in there.
