B/A 10 Oil Question

I plan on changing my oil in my B/A 10 and in my search got lost with some forums saying to use 75w-90 gear oil others say to use 10w-30 motor oil . What is the correct oil that I need to used ?

Lots of discussion about this. I’ve read several posts that 75/90 and 10/30 are similar. 75/90 has additives that give it that wonderful smell. I haven’t used 10/30 yet but I may next time

I used Redline MT90 and am very happy with it. Shifts very nice even in Iowa winters.

I use regular old 75/90 gear oil.

The new peugeot factory recommended weight oil is 10w30. It's hard to believe but it's now what is recommended. I switched from Redline mt90 to 10w30 and experienced only better results. Smoother shifts, quieter. The BA10/5 also uses aluminum synchros just so you know. No yellow metals in there.
