‘92MJComanche Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Thinking about turning my 92 into a crew cab due to expanding family but not sure where to start or anything? Trying to decide if I need to build a tube frame or if I could find a full size truck frame and modify it to achieve the same thing?? Need some help if anyone else has looked into it
Pete M Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 there's one in Epic Tech honestly though, it's infinitely easier to simply install a child seat in the MJ or buy another Jeep for those times you need the seats.
omega_rugal Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 you need the front of an XJ, the rear of an MJ and welding skills

This is just straight genius. Legal, yeah probably, but how do you mount it securely?

Pete M Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 depends entirely on the model you buy. but you can certainly use the seatbelt bolts for the other 2 seats and then attach something through the rear wall.
