Up to 95 fits.

you need the base bits from the Comanche bench seat if you are adapting, and the regular sliders from any 84-95 XJ.

They can be 4 or 2 door seats, but 4 door seats won't flip forward.

you don't have to limit yourself to XJ seats, or even Jeep seats.  The junkyard is FULL of comfy seats that you can adapt in. :L:

I used Grand Cherokee seats in my old 91 Comanche.  So much more comfortable than any XJ/MJ buckets.  Also used the tilt forward mechanism from 95+ XJ 2 door seats in the Grand Cherokee seats for full tilt function.  There is a how to in the DIY section.

the late 90s seems like it was the peak of comfy-ness for chrysler seats.  I loved the seats in my old 97 town n country. :D
