Not worried about winter driving down here in TX and I have the MJ for all my off road fun. Now having a 420hp grocery getter to pound the roads with sounds like a lot of fun to me! :D
rockhardzj
If it's IFS, it's not a real Jeep! I have heard a few horror stories with those damn WK's. Everything from fires, to blown motors, to bad vibrations, and a few others. You'll never catch me riding in one.
GreenF350
Drive it, you'll love it. Ive driven a few at auction, definatly left me wanting one. You will notice the tranny seems a little lazy when you get on it though ( I think they set them up that way so they survive behind the 6.1). Theyre not intended to be like other jeeps, more like a sports car, and thats a whooooole different kind of fun

If I want an SUV, I want a damn solid axle and selectable 4WD options, including 2WD Mode.

pingpong
I say buy it, and be the first to do a solid axle 4x conversion on it. Swap the axles over to 60's front and rear (35 spline everywhere), and the remove sheetmetal until it can clear 39.5 Iroks
CEThomas
The tires and rims need to go :D But that is one nice ride and who needs 2wd

But those tires and axles arent big enough. You need to go to some rocks mounted on some 46's, and word has it, that someone in the club has a set of 46's for sale, pretty cheap. Just ask! 89eliminator
i got to drive one of those last year at Camp Jeep in Elkhart Lake, WI on the race track. you go to go by yourself for one lap so you could do anything you wanted. i got it up to 130mph on the straights. they are wicked fast
Kenosha Warrior
they crashtest well too. Someone up here plowed a pine tree at 100kph and they walked away. clipped it with the drivers side front corner and spun it backwards into another pine tree. jared
i like but i hear they have some vibration issues due to thetorque converter locking up. i can't remember what it is exactly but chrylser isn't doing anything to fix it either
Rob S
Well I like it, it would make a sweet DD. All the negitive comment are usually from people who havent driven one and don't have a clue. I own a WK with a 5.7 Hemi, its a sweet ride and is fairly capable offroad. I've owned every type of Grand Cherokee built, several ZJ's, WJ's and now a WK. The WK takes the cake. Its not for everybody, but if you want an upscale Jeep this is it.
