ruralandalone
Please forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this, but I'm a newbie, starting my first (and likely last ) comanche rebuild. Does anyone know of a reputable place to get : A parts book floor panels. These seem to be available as 2 peices per side (front and rear). I assume I need both? rubber for the doors that goes around the side windows. brake cables. I don't know what the proper name is for the parking brake cables that attach directly to the drums, but mine are clearly shot...

R1.
It might be worth your while to check a pick and pull junk yard to find a used set of brake cables. I am kind of partial to the Haynes manuals. Jeep Cherokee: 1984 thru 2001 - Cherokee - Wagoneer - Comanche ISBN: 1563925400 is the one I have.
Keyav8r
It would help to know something about your truck - year, model, engine, drive train. There are some manuals and parts lists floating around the forum that may be applicable to your MJ.
SVPete
Recommend to check Rockauto and Amazon for parts.
ruralandalone
Thanks for the replies. It is an 86, long box. I don't know much about the engine and drive train. The four cylinder engine, 4 wd. No tag on the rear axle, so I'm not sure what it is.
jpdriver1
I like to have both manuals for my vehicles, sometimes there is slightly different information between them. Youtube helps too for actual how to's.
DirtyComanche
Rockauto.com is selling reprints of the actual factory service manuals for many years of Jeep vehicles. They aren't cheap, but they're worth 10x what they cost... Or look on ebay or use the ones linked off cruiser54's website.
Whiz
rubber for the doors that goes around the side windows. Are you referring to the weather stripping? I got mine from Pick a parts. Well most of it off Cherokees.
ruralandalone
Yes, I was referring to the window weatherstripping. I would have thought that this was a standard replacement items for most vintage cars. (None of my other restorations had windows)
Whiz
If you use the search i know there is more info with what years fit. I think i did also see some on rockauto. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
