Tj1
It's pretty cool the storage people let you work on your truck while being stored. I know some don't allow that, especially around here. She's going to love the "fresh air"I work night shift so 90% of the work I did was after office hours or weekends in the middle of the night. I have seen others fixing various vehicles there, MGs, corvettes, one guy had a sweet 70s gto. I'm sure the apartment complex next to the units loved the noise of angle grinder at 3 a.m.
Tj1
Small update - a couple weeks after moving out of the unit I took her out on a bunch of state land to camp. We didn't quite make it to camp before the the radiator bllleeewwww. The wonderful closed system wouldn't hack it anymore so I dropped some cash to get every thing ready for open system. New radiator, water pump, thermostat, generic over flow tank, and gaskets. Couple days after that we went to the local orv sand dunes to play for the weekend. The fun didn't last long due to some wiring issues. No taillights and headlights coming on when the brake is pressed. I recently got be wires ran and finally have working taillights. About the same time as installing a new harness for the rear, I bought and installed the autopal housings with the putco relay harness. Next on the to do list is cowel hood mod and finish my half door mod....

Tj1
There has been a lack of attention for the 88 as my TJ needed some help getting back to life. I picked up a Jcr diy winch bumper that I finished welding and soon will be going to get powder coat. I also finally started to make the half doors! Had to stop for the day due to rain. It sucks when my workshop is a 10x10 shed and a tailgate....

Tj1
I was trying to figure out how to mount TJ half door outside handles to the XJ door. Couldn't find a good way to secure them so it was back to the drawing board. First filling the old handle hole... I ended up taking some .223 casings, epoxying them to some round bar, bending the end into the latch, and making an access panel.

Tj1
Taillight housings project begins! The Maxximas run about 8" by 4" and stick out about 7/8". Maybe someday I'll make the housings yo be recessed to make them flush.
Vakarian
Awesome work man! If you had to do the floor again, would you buy the c2c pans or try something else? I'm curious as I may been doing that soon.

Customer service was excellent for me. Pans are holding up better than random 18 gauge I put in the mix too.

Tj1
Added in an ARB diff vent kit. The holes in the axles are the right size for a 1/8 - 27 tap. Perfect for the provided pneumatic fittings!

Tj1
Finally got a better job with a wonderful boss that allows me to take up some room in the shop. Even get to use the fork lift to see if the front suspension still suspends. While she's parked I can start to tear out the drive train and get a 99 4.0L in her.Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk
Tj1
Took a break from engine stuff to burn out hood vent panels (on the work plasma table) for a cowl induction type hood. Hopefully it'll help with heat in the engine bay.Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk
