Home sweet home. They are safe in California at the new house. We'll be joining them in a few weeks.

They have base housing there but I don't use it. I have 5 cars, and 30' travel trailer, 2 ATVs and a boat. I would have to pay for storage for the camper, boat and two of the cars.

 

I rented the house in the pic for $950 and I have 5 acres of desert to screw around on.

Makes sense. But I figured that since you have to be the bull enlisted guy there the Housing Office would probably give you a 5BR mansion next to the base commander.   :thumbsup:

His truck is very, very nice. I would never pay $69k for a truck though. I'll keep my $17k used CTD.
