Throwback to the older days when trucks didn't come from the factory with bumpers usually and they were a dealer supplied option. ShadowRaptor Posted June 3, 2016 Share Posted June 3, 2016 The lack of license plate provisions really kills a lot of the aftermarket bumpers for me. On mine, we just modified the mounting brackets and used the old tube bumper from my dad's YJ. Then I just put a couple new holes in my plate and bolted it to the body under the tailgate. I bought license plate bolt LED lights and installed in the bottom holes to make it all legal and stuff. Used existing MJ bullet connectors that are already factory installed.
