go out, and get some sheetmetal, bend/fab to your needs (its not that hard, really!) and mount some LED lights in it. jamminz.gif

 

Just wait till my MJ is done. It will have the 97+xj tails blended into it, as well as the new front clip.

I have yet to find a tailight that fits nicely. Back in the day when I drove Pong on the street, I wheeled him as well. It wasn't uncommon for me to bust a light or two :eek: Afte a while I fabbed my own guards that where labeld Ghetto "fab"oulous guards, but they worked ;)

 

MY latest thoughts would be to look at the lowrider crowd. They make and sell inserts to fill in the tailight section and move your lights. I think this would solve 2 problems at once. First being the lack of availability of tail lights, and the second their location that put them in harms way.

you can make your own filler pannels. It's real eash and you can get the shet metal cheep at home depot and install any light you want. I just used Leds

I bent it around a 3" piece of pipe I had laying around
