Rockfrog
EGR valve is on the side of the intake manifold directly below the throttle body on the outer edge. Beside that is the EGR transducer. Adding clutch fluid ... DOT 3 brake fluid ... Goes into the clutch master cylinder reservoir. Behind the washer fluid bottle, besides the brake booster ... Whiteish yellow cap in your picture. wutangwisdom
good to know cause its on the low mark I wasnt sure what that little res was for now I do thanks a bunch. The person that owned this said he didnt want it anymore cause it started to stall when pressing the clutch in and coming to a stop or slowing down to take a turn.. when I worked on it today i pulled the oil dipstick and it only had about .5 inch on the stick...Being that low is enough to make it stall from not enough oil pressure? Not sure.. But I cleaned the throttle body today it was black and pulled the air filter it was also black and oily towards the back of the box. Planning on making a oil catch, does anyone have pics of theirs?
wutangwisdom
Also I did see the EGR just wasnt sure if it was it or not. I didnt see any bolts holding it in posistion how to remove it? very tight in this location. If I remove the airbox cover all the hoses will need to be replace most likely cause there is a decent amount deterioration where the hoses connects to the box (all of them)
Marine1Texas
if your clutch fluid was low, you may have a leak. make sure it is not leaking in side down behind you fuse panel. it can cause problems and eat up some stuff on fuse box.
wutangwisdom
Yes I will check that tuesday This truck has no interior upolstry on the floors, so I would think I would have seen a puddle ?
13 Legion
I have RMS leak. Haven't changed it yet. I do notice though when oil starts getting low it runs a lot rougher and wants to die out. Monitor that oil level!!

Marine1Texas
for those air bags do you have a pump on the truck for them? or do you manually have to pump it with compressor? you should check to see if they hold air. just because it looks the way it does, does not mean it does not work. I had a Lincoln one time that had air bags that would allow lowering all the way to the ground, and also making it look like a 3 inch lift. it had a pump with no leveler control. You pumped it manually with a switch on the dash.
wutangwisdom
This is no lincoln... lol i doubt there is a switch on the dash and I don't believe there are any lines running to these air supports
wutangwisdom
anyone able to decipher which transmission this is by the terrible picture? One person says its the BA 10/5 anyone else back that up ? would the engine date help figure this out? or is that just pertain to the engine?
Marine1Texas
looks like a BA10/5. for air bags to work you will need to find out how they fill up!
