  7. changed my milky grey gear oil in the 89 comanche yesterday. When I took the fill plug out oil came pouring out all over the place ( wasnt prepared for this since I didnt think that much oil would come out of the fill plug) is this normal thing to happen or a sign it was overfilled? I did not jack the front end up. So my question is should I have jacked the front end up to prevent this from happening? when I filled it back up I just filled it till it slowly started dripping from the fill plug. Hope this makes sense to yous people

  13. Hmmmmmm that's what I was thinking but I went out this morning and turned on the lights and they are normal. I found a starter on Amazon for 50 bucks. But the bosch version is 139 bucks is there brands of starters I should avoid?
  14. So I went to start the manche up and all I get is rapid clicks when I turn the key I was thinking its the starter. I keep trying to turn it over and eventually it stops clicking and my lights have a yellow tint . also my positive terminal gets hot. Battery or starter?
  15. So I plan on changing my coolant temp sensor in hope of fixing my stalling issues while shifting only at running temp shifts fine till it warms up. Just wondering If anyone knows the size wrench I need to get the CTS out of its hiding spot , any helpful hints in doing this pita job welcomed.
  16. yeah My 89 I6 does the same thing EGR are expensive but if yours still has vacuum while accelerating then I would just take it off and clean all the carbon build up on it. also the 2 inch hose that goes from the side of the airbox to under the headers shouldnt have any holes in it and if it does should be replaced. Other than that I believe most rough idle issues that arent IAC related are TPS related.... So dick with the tps and clean egr before you replace the egr.
  17. sounds like the tps......Thats where I would start at a low cost point remove and clean IAC with carb cleaner might as well clean the throttle body while your in that location. But most likely its a TPS issue. Does it stall if you say don't come to a slow stop but come to an abrupt stop?
  18. have fun with tires and front end work oh and can't check your oil thats always a good design....Thats what my co worker always seems to be complaining about with hers. But yes very fun cars to drive

  22. still like my sway bar links as BPE don't squish the bushing like those ones stock mj shocks fit on 01 cherokee?
  23. BPE in that pic looks too snug to me just my opinion did you make those? they look more like front shock BPE
  24. not sure on the size of the actual bolt but once you figure that out you might as well just install bar pin eliminators that way you don't have to deal with those 2 bolts ever again. Also look for a company call Fastenal they are huge nation wide chain and they have/can get any kind of fastener and much more if you don't have one nearby I could always get a certain size bolt and mail it to ya I work right next door to a Fastenal
