jimoshel
I'd like to see them do it with a Rolls Royce Merlin aircraft engine. Wonder how a MJ would run with one of these babies under the hood? In the bed?
64 Cheyenne
P51 engine?
jimoshel
It was used in the P51, F51, P38, Hawker Hurricane, Bristol B1 Spitfire and several others. Not sure but believe it was also used in some tanks.
Megadan
I'd like to see them do it with a Rolls Royce Merlin aircraft engine. Wonder how a MJ would run with one of these babies under the hood? In the bed? Well, it would take up the whole bed for starters, and darn near max out the rear suspension (over 1400lbs). If you've never seen one free of a plane in person, then you just don't get the size of those things. Awesome, but ridiculous.
jimoshel
Am well aware of their size. In 1976 I bought two of them at a surplus auction in Albuquerque. Had to rent a U-Haul to get them home. And I didn't think there was anything ridiculous about them. Other than the fact that i got them in the first place and didn't have a foggiest idea in Hell of what I was was going to do with 'em. Lowly
Let me guess you put both them in a Comanche. A twin Rolls-Royce powered manche. Now that be something.
Lowly
I'd like to see a radial engine put in a comanche. I have seen it is some other cars and trucks. I think those are so cool.
