Eagle Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 The main difference is in the Rear view mirror clip so you have a 50/50 shot that your old mirror will slide on as I changed up to the newer mirror (auto tint) ??? I have a 2000 XJ Classic and a 2001 XJ Sport. Neither has an auto-tint mirror. The XJ never offered an auto-tint mirror. What's this "newer mirror" to which you refer?
Jeepman Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I never said it was a factory option as you will see I said I changed mine to the newer Auto tint and I got mine out of a Liberty or Grand Cherokee I think... The point is that the 86-92 MJ Mirror may or may not slide onto the 97+ windshields mirror bracket that comes with the glass as my 89 mirror bracket didn't work with my 89 mirror so I had to change it...
krustyballer16 Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Would anybody know how much shipping would be for that trim from Denmark back here? It won't let me see the shipping cost until I "commit to buy"...
