Jacob Ochs
So on my 86 right now I have this setup as my light bar mounted right above the roll bars But recently ove been debating on keeping this or getting a LED light bar like this one which one do you guys like better? I would just like some help deciding!
88whitemanche
If you already have the roll bar might as well keep that and add led 4" pods on there... I love the set up front but you'd have to drill into the cab to mount the light bar with the brackets
krustyballer16
Depends on if you like halogen or LED better. I think they're both equals. Other than LED is more white /clear. I have Kc daylighter square s on my rollbar and on my xj I have 4 pods, a 20" on the bumper and I'm making brackets for a 50" on the roof. Very bright! Mine is a single row 50" . Looks much better than a double row at half the height...
benjy_26
Keep in mind that it IS possible to "outrun" cheaper LED lights and they can't be focused as tightly as halogens. This might cause some issues if you plan on using LED's on am overhead bar. This is what stopped me from going full LED for my auxilary lighting. Dillithium
Well, since you're asking for opinions, I'll chime in. Personally, I dislike it when a car or truck has multiple types of lighting up front and rear. If you want LED, go full LED. Indicators, headlights, lightbars, the works. Mixing Halogen and LED is weird, especially if they have different colortemperatures. Considering the age of our Jeeps, I would vote to stick with traditional lighting. Blue XJ
I have a set of 4" LED fog lights on mine. They are way too bright to use on road,I almost wish I kept the KC's I had on there.
mnkyboy
My thought is to keep what you have and spend your money elsewhere, once you run out of things to do to your Jeep then look into LEDs.

I probably should get myself some bed liner and a paint job, and a D44 front, and rock sliders first! Haha I was just sort of asking for future reference.
