Timeless
I do not, but I don't see the value in it. There are plenty of other options out there for better prices.
A-man930
I stay away from heim joints for street driven rigs. No protection from the elements so they wear out quickly. Just my $.02 I have an adjustable one from JKS (has a re-buildable johnny joint) and I couldn't be happier.
HOrnbrod
10-4 all the above. But the gold color gives it a slight bling factor.
Jeep Driver
Not about the bling. I'm looking for a double shear TB for 0 lift. I spoke to Andy yesterday at Ironman to see if he would make me one. Apparently I'm not the only one with this request but no one has been able to successfully design one. I do not what a lift. I DO what better handling and installing a lift just to get a double-shear would defeat the purpose. I'm on my 5th TB in 2.5 years, I'm done with this $#!&. Andy said he'll take another look at designing one and get back with me next week. Part of the problem with his design is that the adjustment for length is at the frame mount end rather than the axle end, so clearing the dif is problematic. Raising the pivot point at the frame end will require me to raise the pivot point at the axle end......that I can handle myself and will probably be discussed with my next call to him. Any ideas? dasbulliwagen
I got a new pro comp adjustable track bar for free and installed it on my MJ. It has a heim at the body aide with the adjuster there. Screwed all the way in is just about right on my truck that has 4wd springs and an extra isolator. I see they go for $200 and says its good up to 4 inches lift. I've had no issues with mine installed for several years now.

Jeep Driver
What I figured out- When you order a TB from rockauto or the auto parts stores they list the TB for '84-'01 XJs. You will see here- http://www.quadratec.com/products/56013_01.htm they list separate TBs for '84-'90 and '91-'01. I'm wondering if the taper has changed at '91 and if the parts supplies are selling the '91+ as a fit for all years? I went yesterday to the PnP and got a good clean chassis mount off a '98 and installed one of my old TBs on my truck....no movement. I'm left to conclude that the newer TBs have worn out my old mount as the tapers do not match.
MuddFoot
could be or maybe someone didn't tighten the nut up and it messed up your mount
shelbyluvv
My 86 has a different TB mount than the one that I put on it from a 94 XJ. The hole was smaller in the 86's TB mount. I couldn't get my castle nut seated far enough to put the cotter pin in. Switched to the later one and problem solved.
