Well I am part of the Comanche club now. Already a JK Jeep owner but was thinking I wanted something that wasn't 25k dollars to take off road.....So I found this mint comanche. The only thing is it is 2wd and I am not mechanically inclined enough to switch out the axles!!!!

So I got this 88 Pioneer Comance 2wd. with 41k original miles. This thing is so mint I am almost considering keeping it stock. It needs a paint job bad but it is in awesome condition.

Keep it stock or make it 4x4 what you guys think?

What kind of Off Roading do you do? If it's just trail riding in wide open places then I'm ok with that but If your planning on beating it up then please find something a little less amazing. As folks know around here I'm not an advocate of keeping them original but this one is something special......congrats you have a really, really, really nice MJ.... I'm super jealous.

Well after reading your comments I have come to the conclusion that the only thing I will be doing is cleaning this thing up to make it look as mint as possible. 4x4 would be great but this thing is minter than I think I am realizing. Thanks a bunch!

I got to ask and it is up to you if you want to say but what did you give for the truck? Also as other said its your truck do as you please. Yes you own a very nice truck use it for what you planned to use it for.

I like your wheels, remind me of Alfa Romeo Teledials. As far as modding it or not, making it 4x4 wouldn't be hacking it up. I just have a small lift, which I think improves the look of the Jeep. But the world's your oyster, there's so much to do or not to do.

Do with it want YOU want.  And if you ever change the bumpers and pull out the bed liner.  Message me. I'll be right over. Watched that one on CL here in ATL ( live in Gwinnett ).
