I think dual mirrors was an option regarding having a mirror on both passenger and driverside.  In the 80's it was not required to have both.

I would be interested to know how long he has owned this MJ. For some reason I smell a "flipper." Dual mirrors were definitely available on all trim levels in '88.

had dual ouside mirrors on my 87 plain when I purchased it used. They were black. Their condition made them look original, I found some chrome ones and swapped.

I live about 2 miles from where this one is sitting right now (this took place about 30 minutes ago) and saw it. Decided to stop and take a look. Saw the price (still 9500) and almost immediately walked away, didn't know it was on craigslist until I saw this thread. It is pretty clean but with that many miles...

No matter how much we all want them to be, MJs are just not worth that kind of money. You want to make money on an MJ, you better have an Archer truck. Though not sure how much you'd actually make in the end since you probably paid a pretty penny in the beginning.
